In the city | The tale of a stolen camera
I took a vacation {Screams, dances, shouts} Last week, I had the pleasure of vacationing in the great state of New York. I stepped out in the city to enjoy the sun. My husband stole my camera (tee, hee) and took this shot of me. I’m pleased to share it with you. Kudos Mr.

Music Monday | Lyrics that move me
Just to mention your name
Jesus every knee shall bow
Jesus let the
Tears fall down
As we blessed your holy name
Without your love I see
There is no me
Without your grace I see
There is no love

Album Review: Y'anna Crowley
The Season Two winner of BET's hit gospel sing-off competition Sunday's Best winner Y'anna Crowley
released her debut album The Promise today, Tuesday August 24th. Beautifully writter and perfectly arranged Y'anna's debut album is sure to be a blessing to music lovers young and old.
Her vocal styling is pure joy. The elegant runs, serious squalls, and her slight vibrato makes me smile from ear to ear.
Pick this album up!! Trust me, you will enjoy it!
My favorites from the release are: "You're still God" "Well done", "Stronger" and "Looking toward heaven"
Be blessed!

Happy Father's Day
Today is the day we celebrate the men and women who have taken on a fatherly role in our lives.
We salute you with gifts like grills, ties, and steak dinners, but we also show our appreciation for the little things you do. Those little things add up to be such big memories- how to change a tire, our first date, or the last kiss before we walk down the aisle.
Today, I wish my mother Anita, A Happy Father's Day, the allthough I have a dad, the duel job you've done for the past 10+ years has been amazing. You took on the double role with grace and style like no other.
I praise God for sending me a mom, and a father like you.
To all the Father's (in whatever capacity that may be) Enjoy today. It's all about you. Thank you.

Diabetes: One Year Later
God is so faithful. He works miracles EVERY single day. If you haven't tried him.. trust me.. I'll vouch for his works.
A year ago today, I was sitting at my desk at work, like normal.. only I wasn't feeling so normal.
I was tired... literally exhausted, extremley hungry, half blind, and I had a fasting blood glucose reading of 480, and it was only 9:00. But 3:00 in the afternoon, my blood sugar would be at 570, and I would be rushed to the hospital.
Today was the day, that I found out I was a diabetic. *cue scary music*
A year ago today, I felt like my world was coming unglued. I was unsure, angry, and very scared.
This past year has been a learning experience for me. I've learned that doctor's with all of their degree's dont neccessarily always have your best interest at heart, that a diet is not the end of the world, and most importantly listening to your body and acting before the trouble is the best way to stay OUT of the emergency room.
Today, Diabetes and I are friends. I'm currently off my medication, and I'm able to control my blood glucose with diet and excercise.
I'm a year in, and I feel great. Everyday is work. Somedays I'm great.. I follow my diet plan, and even go walk around my complex. Other days, I'm a heathen. I eat what I want, and could care less about working out. But, everyday, I try. I try by listening to my body, managing my diet, and staying active.
